APS HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION SESSIONS FOR TRANSFERS (for admission to the 2012-2013 School Year)
 
APS offers school information sessions to provide parents an opportunity to visit the schools, meet the principals, tour the buildings, and get a general sense of the personalities of each of the schools. All parents/guardians of rising high school students are encouraged to attend one of these sessions. In addition, according to our SB policy, school information sessions are required for families who are considering applying to another school other than their neighborhood school, including the high school countywide programs.

Pre-IB/IB APPLICATION INFORMATION
The timeframe to apply for the Pre-IB and IB Programs coincide with the APS transfer application period—the first Monday in November to the third Friday in January (Oct. 31, 2011-Jan. 20, 2012 for the 2012-13 school year).  Applications and directions will be posted on the W-L IB website on October 31, 2011.  Parents are strongly encouraged to attend one of the two IB Information meetings to learn about the Pre-IB/IB program, application/transfer process, and admission requirements.  All applications must be submitted to the IB office by 4 PM on Friday, January 20, 2012.
